Пост в честь взлома N-Gage 2 игр командой BiNPDA
Поиграл сегодня в Asphalt 3 Street Rules, телефон подключил к телевизору-монитору. Вспомнился Need For Speed 2 на Playstation (1). Так вот, NFS был хуже, не смотря на то что занимал 1 CD и другие условности. По графике телефонная игрушка практически на уровне старой консольной, не считая некоторых эффектов (во всяком случае какое-то подобие motion blur и искр в NFS'e не помню), модели автомобилей более детализированы в Асфальте. физика в Асфальте лучше конечно же, в НФСе не было траффика и ментов. озвучка - ничего не могу сказать про НФС, но в асфальте саундтрек состоит из midi мелодий, а эффекты судя по всему записаны в AMR, на фоне других телефонных игрушек, в sis/sisx и о ужас - на яве - асфальт рулит :)
Если уже сравнивать с Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit, то существующий Асфальт сосёт, хотя, тут можно надеяться что старые РС-игры начнут портировать на смарты, благо графический акселератор телефона поддерживает OpenGL.

I've played the Asphalt 3 Street Rules today, the phone was connected to the monitor-TV. It reminded the Need For Speed 2 for Playstation (1). Well, the NFS was worse, disregarding it took a whole 1 CD and other stuff. The graphics of the phone game is almost as good as the old console one had, except some effects (I can't remember NFS had some motion-blur look alike and sparkles), the cars' models are more detailed in Asphalt. The physics are better in the Asphalt of course, NFS had no traffic and cops. The sound – can't say anything about the NFS, but in the Asphalt the soundtrack consists of midi tones, and effects most likely recorded in the AMR format, but against a background of other phone games, sis/sisx and the horror java Asphalt rules :)
But in comparison with the Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit the Asphalt sucks, though here one might hope that old PC-games will be ported to smartphones, since the graphics accelerator of the phone supports the OpenGL.
