В дополнение к законам Мёрфи (из собственной практики):
Если сидеть целый день рядом с телефоном, никто не позвонит.
Стоит выйти из комнаты, телефон 50% позвонит.
Стоит намочить или испачкать руки – телефон 100% позвонит.

Сегодня было проверено и доказано (уже не раз бывало, но сегодня идеально вышло).
Я ждал важный звонок в назначенное время. А нужный человек так и не звонил. Тогда я пошёл на кухню, поставил телефон на стол и начал мыть посуду. Не прошло и минуты, как телефон зазвонил. Вот так вот:)
А идеально было бы если бы в телефоне садилась батарея и руки было бы нечем вытереть:)

Addition to Murphy's laws (based on my own practice):
If you sitting near the phone whole day, nobody will call.
Once you out of the room, it's 50% probability that the phone will ring.
Once your hands are wet or dirty – it's 100% probability that the phone will ring.

Today this one was checked and proved (it happened many times, but today it was ideal).
I was waiting for one important phone call in the appointed time. And the needed person wasn't calling. Then I went to kitchen, put the phone on the table and started washing dishes. It was less than a minute when phone rang. So that's how it's done:)
And the ideal conditions would be when the phone's battery is nearly dead and there's nothing to wipe hands dry:)
